Weatherly School Board Promotes Kristen Ritter to Full-Time Assistant Business Manager, Jeanine Snyder Leaves Nutrition Group for New Job Opportunity

During a special meeting held on April 18, the Weatherly Area School Board made the decision to promote Kristen Ritter from a part-time cafeteria aide to a full-time assistant business manager. Ritter, who had previously worked in banking for 12 years and returned to work last August after taking time off to raise her children, will now be assisting the outgoing business manager, Leann Sites, whose final day with the board will be on May 21.

During the meeting, the board also addressed other personnel matters. Lori Giannakouros was hired as a substitute cafeteria aide pending all clearances, Courtney Marscicano will join as a part-time paraprofessional, and Dianne Paisley was added as a substitute teacher. Interviews for a new business manager are currently ongoing.

A notable announcement was made during the meeting that Jeanine Snyder, the manager of food services for the Nutrition Group at Weatherly Area, will be leaving her position on May 1 for a new job opportunity. Snyder, who has been a leader in the district for seven years, expressed that it was a tough decision to leave. The Nutrition Group will begin the search for Snyder’s replacement.
