Includedu: Revolutionizing Sign Language Learning with AI Technology
Two young Peruvians have created a platform called Incluedu, which offers an innovative solution to learning sign language from any country in the world. Utilizing artificial intelligence, the platform identifies the type of sign language used and provides users with learning modules and real-time exams featuring language models from different countries.
According to data from the United Nations, there are over 300 different types of sign languages worldwide, making it a challenge for those looking to learn them. Incluedu aims to make learning sign language accessible and easy for users globally by utilizing AI technology.
The creators of Incluedu are now working to expand the platform internationally, starting with countries like Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. They also plan to introduce it throughout Peru through partnerships with the Ministry of Education. As a first step towards this goal, Incluedu has signed a commitment with the Alcides Salomón Zorrilla Center for Technical-Productive Education to provide one hundred scholarships from the platform to people with disabilities at their institution.
This agreement is seen as a significant step towards providing equal opportunities for people with disabilities and equipping them with tools for personal and professional growth. Includedu is paving the way for a more inclusive world where individuals with disabilities can access resources that enhance their lives.
